I was 62 years old and post menopausal. I underwent a full hysterectomy and later 12 weeks of chemotherapy, BEP. I developed a blood infection that was very rare, but I beat it with a lot of antibiotics and hospital stay.
Now it is a year later and the CT scan says some of the lymph nodes are growing. I have been told I will need more chemotherapy and /or radiation.
What I would like to know, is the chemotherapy likely to be the same, as it didn’t work completely the first time? Will my neuropathy in my feet and hands get worse? So far I have no answers.
