Sunnybrook has a large Veterans Affairs Canada long-term care home associated with the hospital.
Potential residents must have been members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Within the home there are several units dedicated to “Cognitive Support” or patients with a primary diagnosis of dementia. It is a fantastic facility that provides exemplary care – and I’m not saying that, just because I work there!
