Event alert! For a few years now, some truly talented musicians have put on a special event to help premature babies. Cheryl, the organizer of the concert, is the mother of a preemie herself. She says, “When Audrey was born at 28 weeks, she weighed just 1 pound 13 ounces. We didn’t know what life would hold for our tiny daughter. This concert is a small way of giving back”.
This year’s “A little OPERA for little BABIES” will feature Christopher Burton, Cheryl Campbell, Jennifer Carter, Jesse Clark, Kyra Folk-Farber, Gillian Grossman, Nadine Guertin, Eve-Lyn de la Haye, Loralie Kirkpatrick, Kieren MacMillan, Kent Tisher, and Damien Villeneuve.
Proceeds go to the Linden Fund, a charity that supports NICUs across Canada. This year’s concert will take place on April 14, 2012, at 2:30pm, at Bloor St. United Church, located at 300 Bloor St. West, in Toronto, Ontario.
