This pure indica medicinal strain comes from California. In that
state’s medical community she is considered an “elite clone”, meaning
that she is only available as a cutting. Not to worry if you are a
medical merijuana patient in California – this strain can be found at
various despensaries throughout the state. Purple Kush is especially
popular at the SR-71 dispensary in “Oaksterdam”, the section of downtown
Oakland that tolerates medical marijuana providers. Patients there
praise this Purple Kush’s deep body stone as a treatment for pain and
depression.

This lady forms a short squat bush with very dense
intermodes and huge fan leaves, staying in the 2-3 foot height range
indoors. With topping or pinching she will be at least as wide as she is
tall. Purple Kush’s foliage exhibits a classic indica growth pattern: a
sturdy bush with dark green hues and hints of purple toward ripeness.

Purple Kush is versatile, performing well for both indoor and outdoor
growers. She does very well in a screen of green (SCROG) setup. Purple
Kush buds form tight chunky nuggets with hints of purple in the tips of
the calyxes, as well as the soft pine bouquet and a sweet, grapey taste
on an earthy foundation. her very frosty veneer of glands will please
both the connoisseur of indica potency and the hashish fan. The Purple
Kush high is strong, deep stone delivers when it comes to treating
chronic pains and inflamations, among other conditions.

Grade: A+

Type: Hindu Kush x Purple Afghani

Looks:Light green nugs with purple coming out of the bud and leaves. Covered in crystals on top of crystals.

Smell:Nice cold kushy smell very nice on the nostrils.

Taste: Beautiful smooth cold expanding smoke in the mouth and in the lungs. Very good after taste

Effects: Makes me tired and gets me couchlocked pretty quick

I suffer from small fibre peripheral neuropathy. I have been prescribed MM for my condition. I have read that scientific peer reviewed papers have found that cannabis used in conjunction with traditional chemotherapy works far better than chemotherapy alone. Other peer reviewed scientific papers have found that cannabis creates apoptosis in cancer cells on its own. Other peer reviewed studies have found that chemotherapy does reach all the cancer cells because of restrictions that are formed in our blood vessels. Cannabis has been shown to relax and thereby eliminate the restriction in the blood vessels. Lastly, chronic inflammation triggers malignancy. Cannabis is considered the best natural anti inflammatory agent. According to my family history, I had a better than average chance of developing a malignancy by now. Perhaps the cannabis I take for my small fibre peripheral neuropathy has also served to prolong my life. There are no pharmaceutical companies interested in funding such research. With no funding, who will pay for the research to test the studies that have been published?

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and pain full Spinal Stenosis. Since I cannot handle acetaminophen and my pain increases with aspirin I have had to rely on Gabapen and herbal anti-inflammatory medication. I immagine Marahuana belongs in the herbal catagory; however for reasons I can only guess the medical doctors have little if any knowledge of vitamins and herbs that may help in cases like myself. So what I have had to do is use myself as a ginnypig and experiment on myself to find my own relief. It is very frustrating for me when I go to a physician who has no answers and poo-poos my personal quest through the herbal jungle to find answers. I have no idea as to what side effects this journey is having on my deteriorating body; but onward I stumble. If there are any answers other than surgery which also may not work, and I do do physio: I sure as hell am waiting for some clear intelligent response.
