What is ET? Endovascular Treatment: the removal of a brain clot via a thin tube inserted at the groin artery. Minimally invasive procedure, clot removed via thin tube, blood flow restored, studies show current treatment: 30% excellent outcome, 20% mortality rate. ET + current treatment: patients with excellent outcome: 55%, reduction in mortality rate: 50%.
