It’s amazing that last year at this time, Dr. Florindo was sitting where they are filled with anticipation. She even worried that she’d be “the worst resident in the history of residents”. First-year family practice resident Tiffany Florindo is one of the 4,000 students who learn the ropes at Sunnybrook each year.

And, she says, it’s not quite like what we see on TV.

By letting Sunnybrook’s media team follow her for the next year, Tiffany is giving a rare and candid glimpse into the busy life of a resident. She shares her fears, hopes and what it was like to be called “doctor” for the first time (You’ll have to wait for episode 2 for that!)
