Welcome to the new education portal at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. This website reflects our hospital’s commitment to four groups of learners:

1) Students, Residents and Fellows

2) Our current staff, physicians and volunteers

We know that education is increasingly important. How we support our teachers, the role of technology in education and how we define success in education are all important issues that we tackle everyday in addition to the actual act of teaching.

In this blog you will have a chance to hear from some of Sunnybrook’s leading educators and innovative approaches.

We also know that all of us — regardless of age or role — are learners as well as teachers. Therefore we welcome you feedback and teachings on what you read about on this blog or anywhere on this site.

Because at Sunnybrook…. Educationmatters

Dr. Joshua Tepper
VP Education
