Being pregnant and having a baby are already times when women are vulnerable to becoming depressed and anxious.

With the global pandemic, you may worry about how COVID-19 will affect you and your baby and have questions about vaccination. At the same time, you may have less support from family and friends due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Dr. Gail Robinson, psychiatrist in Sunnybrook’s Women’s Mood and Anxiety Clinic: Reproductive Transitions, has written about heightened depression and anxiety during the pandemic in The Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease.
